Admit One

Photo by Vicki Admit one thought to the theater mankind What if we were wrought fully colorblind? Would a rainbow, its arc be absent its color as we stand in the park to marvel its pallor? Would a box 'o colored pencils its palette abundant were placed in its vessel all white and redundant? Would marbles, their spheres absent their streaks instead only clear be considered freaks? As invisible light splashes through a prism's rainbow would their beauty be dashed all clear, of color unknown? The rainbow, marble or pencil, all yields abundance of choices differences apparent, sung to call the sound of different voices. Would mankind all white, black, red, yellow and brown fade from sight their uniqueness all gone? Admit this thought that we all might agree for the blindness we sought would not make us happy.
